Dr T.P. Lucas, a Brisbane botanist and medical practitioner, discovered the calming powers of papaw in the late 1800's. His famous topical ointment formula has remained unchanged for over 100 years, and is still produced by his descendants in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

Papaw is rich in papain and antioxidants, with antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. We hand select the finest Far North QLD papaws and ferment them in our Brisbane factory. A natural fermentation process delivers the soothing enzymes of papaw in a super potent concentration.

Lucas' Papaw Ointment contains no sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), palm oil or glycerine. It is non-allergenic and non-comedogenic.

Lucas' Papaw Ointment is commonly used to help relieve:

• Chafing - Whether returning to exercise, battling a hot day or general day to day
• Dry or cracked skin - soothe feet, elbows, knuckles, cuticles and more
• Dry chapped lips - rejuvenate dry chapped wind or sunburned lips
• Abrasions - care for scrapes, grazes and general abrasions
• Sunburn - Soothe the heat and sting of sunburn. Note this product does not contain SPF.

Directions

Directly apply a thin layer of ointment to the lips or any dry area on the body as needed to help improve the softness, texture and appearance of the skin.
